DishBinder Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using DishBinder you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

2. What DishBinder is

DishBinder is a personal recipe management application. It helps you save, organize, and search recipes; import recipes from URLs; build a weekly meal plan; generate a grocery list; and use AI features (Chef chat, recipe generator, meal planner) to assist with cooking. DishBinder is not a source of nutritional, dietary, or medical advice — see section 7.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use DishBinder. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental consent.

4. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Use a strong password. Don't share your credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@duskfieldstudios.com if you suspect your account has been accessed without your authorization.

5. Subscriptions & payments

DishBinder offers a 7-day free trial followed by a paid subscription. Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store (StoreKit), the Google Play Store (Play Billing), or directly via Stripe on the web. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Refunds for mobile purchases are handled by Apple or Google through their respective channels; refunds for web purchases are handled by us at our discretion.

6. AI features

The Chef chat, recipe generator, and meal planner features are powered by large language models. AI output may occasionally be inaccurate, unappetizing, nutritionally unbalanced, or list ingredients that don't actually combine well. Use your judgment — and your taste buds — before cooking anything an AI generates. The AI is not a registered dietitian or food-safety expert.

7. Recipe content disclaimer

Recipes you save (whether typed, scraped from a URL, or generated by AI) are not reviewed by us for nutritional accuracy, allergen safety, food-borne-illness risk, or compatibility with any medical condition. If you have food allergies, dietary restrictions, or any health condition that affects what you can safely eat, verify every ingredient yourself before cooking. DishBinder is not liable for the consequences of cooking or eating any recipe in your library.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Abuse the AI features with prompts that violate Groq's or our content policies
• Attempt to access other users' data or recipes without authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
• Scrape DishBinder programmatically beyond what your normal interactive use generates
• Upload images that infringe copyright, contain malware, or depict illegal content
• Use DishBinder to commit fraud, harass other users, or violate any applicable law

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without notice.

9. Your data and content

You own the recipes, photos, notes, and other content you create or upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content as needed to deliver DishBinder to you (and to recipients of any public share links you generate). 10. Intellectual property

The DishBinder name, logo, design, code, and all original content provided by us are owned by Duskfield Studios LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the app or its assets without our written permission.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

DishBinder is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be available without interruption, that recipe imports will succeed for every URL, that AI output will be accurate or appetizing, or that the app will be free of bugs.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Duskfield Studios LLC's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of DishBinder shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from your use of DishBinder shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of DishBinder after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
